The Grand Prix Battle Mode has finally dropped! If you have no idea what that is, here’s the Base post explaining it based on Konami’s presentation at the Tokyo Game Show this past September. Or, you know, just click the link to Konami’s website above to check out the details.
There are also 10(!) new characters available in the shop, including Reiko, Anubis, Jehuty, and Dracula, all of whom were unveiled back in September. But some surprising additions (to me) are Bubble Head Bomber (that is to say, that creepy nurse from Silent Hill 2) and Goemon Bomber.
And wonders of wonders, Konami hasn’t neglected Story Mode! They’ve added another world, Bomber Planet, to the single-player after you beat the single-player on Standard difficulty.
Finally, if you’re into getting dat bombergear, there’s nine new accessory lines for you to choose from.
On the technical end, they’ve tweaked the performance for the special abilities of Belmont, Vic Viper, and Pyramid Head, adjusted the punch, kick, and camera controls, and fixed other small bugs.
